In promoting so, as SMEs Development Agency, one of main implementing bodies, has been acting as the main catalyst for developing MSMEs in Myanmar with providing the value-added supporting services such as holding Trade Fairs and Competitions, awarding the National MSMEs Award, Technology Transfer, Business Matching and Exhibitions, Capacity Building Trainings, Financial Access, SMEs Registration, Advisory and Consulting Service.

SMEs Development Center comprising of Industrial Zone Development/ Technical Development Department, International Related Department and Investment Promotion Department was established with the permission of Cabinet Meeting (13/2012) of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar, held on 29th March, 2012 aiming to perform effective supports to SMEs, emergence of competitive SMEs, transformation of SMEs to large Enterprises for the strong supports of the state’s economy with sustainable manner.
